INTRODUCTION
This story is adapted from a children's storybook, entitled "You Are Special," and is one of many books that I used read to my kids at bedtime. The main character, Punchinello, struggles with other people's negative judgments and low self-worth. To whom do we build our trust around who we really are? What do we do with negative thoughts about ourselves that tend to stick hard? Punchinello receives advice from someone free and joyful who seems to have learned how to keep negative thoughts and judgements at bay.
